I was never big into the community boards on the fender site for the previous Mustang, except for Shaun’s stuff. The amp interface is simpler on the LT models, but I believe that Tone works identically for LT/GT/Rumble amps. Though, honestly… Since I Took the time to emulate/make my presets Similar to the ones for my Mustang III, I haven’t edited many presets on the GT40, but I have tweaked many on the Rumble studio. The problem with that is the tablet is unwieldy when playing, and the phone is much handier. The amp has a USB slot that goes into my comp (running Windows 7) but I have genuinely no idea how.

I think the new software is quick, intuitive and easy to use. Here is the link I used if anybody wants to try it: Connect the amp to your computer and open Fender FUSE While holding the data wheel power the amplifier back on. In fact, I think the Roland software allows a more detailed version. but it doesn't offer anywhere near the detailed settings of the Fuse software. Yes it looks nice and allows you to fine tune the presets and I guess download others. and was really surprised by what I found. However I downloaded the Tone 3.0 software for a "test run". I don't have home wireless but I understand I don't need that to use bluetooth.Īnyway, I was drawn to the LT 50 because the Tone 3.0 allows desktop use and I was looking for the next generation, as it were, to the now discontinued and non-supported Fuse software. But as I said for some reason I can't get bluetooth to work with my older Android 8.1.0 version TCL phone. I wonder if anybody has tried out the newly available (I think) Fender Mustang LT 50 and specifically its Fender Tone 3.0 software yet? I realize that a strength of the new line is the ability to use bluetooth and your smart phone to adjust settings, download presets, etc.
